Is there a direct interface between Shopify and DATEV?

Which data does the interface transfer to DATEV?

How does payment reconciliation work with PayPal, Klarna and co.?

Does CONA also create invoices?

How does CONA handle OSS and VAT?

CONA calculates VAT correctly even in complex cases: OSS sales to other EU countries, reverse charge for B2B and shipments to third countries. Mixed carts with different tax rates are split cleanly and exported correctly.

Is aggregation a problem for GoBD compliance?

No, aggregation only affects the export: identical booking records from the same day are combined so DATEV stays performant. The underlying detail remains fully available in CONA, and every aggregated booking can be resolved down to the individual order. Traceability is preserved throughout.

Why isn't Shopify's CSV export enough?

The Shopify export contains order data but no payment flows: fees, refunds, payout timing differences and VAT cases are missing. Importing raw data unfiltered into DATEV produces thousands of unreconciled bookings that become expensive by year-end close at the latest.
