Is there a direct interface between Stripe and DATEV?

No, Stripe offers no native DATEV connection and DATEV no direct Stripe integration. You need a tool in between that merges invoices, payments and fees from Stripe and exports them in DATEV format. CONA does exactly that, including period-accurate revenue deferral.

How does CONA book deferred revenue?

How are Stripe fees and payouts booked?

What does the booking batch CONA exports to DATEV contain?

The booking batch contains the invoices and credit notes from Stripe, the period-accurate deferral bookings, Stripe fees and the reconciled payouts. Your tax advisor imports it directly into DATEV, no cleanup needed.

How does CONA handle refunds and proration?

Refunds, credit notes and proration are fully covered. On a refund or plan change, CONA automatically adjusts the deferral schedule and books the correction in the correct period. Partial periods are calculated accurately too.

Does this also work with complex Stripe setups, such as multiple accounts or Stripe Connect?

Yes. CONA processes multiple Stripe accounts and supports Stripe Connect. Balance transactions, fees and payouts are mapped per account and exported together to DATEV.

Is the DATEV export traceable and GoBD-compliant?

Yes. For the export, CONA aggregates identical booking records so DATEV stays performant. The underlying detail remains fully available and every booking can be resolved down to the individual invoice or transaction. Traceability is preserved throughout.
